  Anna Bender, PA-C
  Born and raised in Boise, Anna graduated from Capital High School and received her BS in Biology from Albertson College of Idaho before completing her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Idaho State University in 2009. She enjoys the educational atmosphere and compassionate patient care provided at FMRI. Medical interests include Women's Health, Dermatology, and Sports Medicine. Outside of clinic, Anna enjoys softball, pilates, Basque dancing, and playing the bassoon.
 Phoebe Gray, RN, PNP
  Nursing degrees from Northern Kentucky State University and California State University, Fullerton. Associate degree in theology from Way College of Biblical Research. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training through Office of Economic Opportunity and Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joined Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in August 2007.
 Chris Gunderson, PA-C
  Mr. Gunderson graduated from the University of Washington MEDEX physician assistant program in 2002. His interests are in family and internal medicine and working for the underserved. His healthcare career began in 1989 when he enlisted in the US Army. He has worked as a critical care nurse, flight-paramedic, and combat medic. His last 4-1/2 years in the US Army were spent as an instructor working in a combined 22-bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit in El Paso, Texas and providing clinical instruction to physicians, nurses, and paramedics in advanced trauma and emergency medicine. He holds specialty certification in surgery through the NCCPA. He has held certification in Critical Care Medicine, ATLS, PHTLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Mr. Gunderson and his wife are excited about bringing their family back to Boise and raising their four children where they are both originally from. Mr. Gunderson is excited to be apart of the Residency’s mission - training residents to become family physicians. Mr. Gunderson is an avid musician and if you are out and about in the Boise area you may see him sitting in with one of the local rock-n-roll, blues or jazz groups in town.
 Chad Sherwood, PA-C
  Graduated from Central Washington University in 1989 with a certificate in paramedicine. Worked until 1997 as a paramedic. Graduated in 1997 from the University of Washington School of Medicine Medex Northwest Physician Assistant Program and has worked as a Physician Assistant since then with a combined experience of Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Has been employed at FPRI since February, 2003. Is married and has 2 children, both of whom are very active in sports. Loves boating whenever possible.
 Anntara Smith, PA-C
  Anntara Smith is a Boise native and graduated from Idaho State University Physician Assistant Program in 2003. She has been at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho since April of 2007 and thoroughly enjoys the patient care provided there. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and two dogs in the Idaho Outdoors!
